Big B stands up for ‘jacka**’ Akshay

, Akshay Kumar paid a hospital visit to RK Laxman, best known for his

Common Man

daily cartoon in a national newspaper. Laxman’s condition is serious but a grinning Kumar seemed oblivious to it. Twitter was buzzing with negative comments on the insensitive photograph. One such comment called Kumar a “jacka**”, immediately sparking a response from Amitabh Bachchan.

Bachchan wrote: “Your fraternity will never pull you up for calling Akshay a jacka**. Ever thought if the reverse were to be done would your fraternity have spared Akshay if he were to address you as one? Never expected this language from you!”

Kumar sent a three-paragraph tweet to Bachchan: “My deepest gratitude to you for your humble support, if only we all possessed a bit of dignity quite like yours…”
