Deepika Padukone shares friendship day note that reads ‘marry your best friend,' tags Ranveer Singh
On the occasion of Friendship Day, Deepika Padukone dedicated a special note for Ranveer Singh, where she called him her ‘best friend.’
Deepika Padukone is celebrating Friendship Day on Sunday with a sweet note for her actor-husband Ranveer Singh. The actor shared a note on her Instagram Stories that began with, "Marry your best friend," and tagged Ranveer in it. Deepika took to her Instagram Stories and shared a special note on the occasion of Friendship Day. The note read, “Marry your best friend. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache, and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs. Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them. Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute - even when the waters get deep, and dark." She also tagged Ranveer in the Instagram Story.
Deepika tied the knot with Ranveer in November 2018 after dating for six long years. They worked together in several films such as Finding Fanny, Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat and 83.
Deepika on Rocky Aur Rani
Recently, Ranveer took Deepika to show his new film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He later posted a video of him and Deepika dancing to What Jhumka, the popular dance number from the film. After both dance to What Jhumka, Ranveer gets Deepika to mimic his character of Rocky from the film. The video ends with Deepika laughing and telling Ranveer, “Only you can do this.” Ranveer wrote in the caption accompanying the video, “She LLLLLLLOVED it! @deepikapadukone #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani.”
Deepika will be next seen in the upcoming action thriller film Kalki 2898 AD. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Disha Patani. As per reports, Deepika has a special dance number in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in the film, which is billed as a project with high-octane action sequences. It will be released in September this year.
