Sushmita Sen shares photo with ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl alongside a flirty comment; here's how he responded
Sushmita Sen, who attended HT India's Most Stylish 2023 with Rohman Shawl, has now shared their photo from the event.
Earlier this week, Sushmita Sen attended HT India's Most Stylish 2023 with Rohman Shawl and her daughter Alisah Sen. On Thursday, the actor shared a photo of herself with Rohman from the event along with a sweet caption. Sushmita and Rohman, who is her ex-boyfriend, seemed lost in each other's eyes, while engrossed in a conversation, in the photo. Sharing it on Instagram Stories, Sushmita Sen wrote, "Nice picture Rohman Shawl (kiss emoji)." Re-sharing her Instagram Stories, Rohman, wrote along with their photo, "Right back at you Sushmita Sen (heart and flying kiss emojis)." Sushmita was dressed in a navy blue pantsuit sans top, while Rohman wore black in the photo from the recent event in Mumbai.
In December 2021, Sushmita had taken to Instagram to announce that she and Rohman Shawl had ended their three-year-long relationship. The two had met through Instagram in 2018. Posting a picture of herself and Rohman, Sushmita had written in 2021, “We began as friends, we remain friends!!! The relationship was long over… the love remains!!!" Rohman had commented on the post, “Always."
Last year, Sushmita was in news after Lalit Modi, who was the first chairman and commissioner of the IPL, shared the news of them being in a relationship. Sharing a series of pictures on Twitter, he had called the actor his 'better half' and described it as a 'new beginning'. He later clarified the two weren’t married, but dating. Sushmita had also posted a clarification on Instagram that she wasn’t married but ‘surrounded by love’.
Lalit had surprised all, when he tweeted along with photos of himself and Sushmita in July 2022, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour of Maldives, Sardinia with the families – not to mention my better half Sushmita Sen – a new beginning, a new life finally. Over the moon.” In another tweet, he had said, “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too it will happen one day.”
Since then, Sushmita has neither confirmed nor denied her alleged relationship with Lalit. However, in recent months, she has often been spotted with Rohman during family gatherings and while out and about in Mumbai. He had also joined her at a fashion week earlier in March, days after the actor had announced the news of heart attack. She had walked as a showstopper for Anushree Reddy at Lakme Fashion Week. Sushmita is now busy shooting for season 3 of her web series Aarya in Rajasthan.
