Reason: Bangkok is where Akki worked as a cook while training in martial arts many years ago, Safedi enthuses. As if I don’t know! Safedi goes on to say that while it was the channel’s idea to fly to the Thailand capital, Akki suggested shooting at the same place he worked at, so that he could cook the very dishes he used to whip up while he was still struggling there. Nice!
