Time magazine declared: “A star is born,” reports the Telegraph.

Mulligan, who made her acting debut in 2005, gained widespread recognition for playing the role of Jenny in the movie.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.
