Chitrangada Singh rubbishes divorce rumours
Lately, speculation has been rife about Chitrangada Singh and her husband Jyoti Randhawa filing for divorce at a court in Gurgaon. The actor’s spokesperson refutes all rumours; says her recent court visits are for a property issue.
Lately, speculation has been rife about Chitrangada Singh and her husband Jyoti Randhawa filing for divorce at a court in Gurgaon. Many news reports claimed that the couple, who have been married for 12 years and also have a son, Zorawar, mutually consented to part ways after going through a rough patch for a long time.
It was also reported that the court had asked them to reconsider their decision and scheduled the next hearing for November 11.
However, Chitrangada’s spokesperson says that all these reports are false. “These rumours been blown out of proportion. Chitrangada was not contacted for a clarification. The entire incident has disturbed her and her family,” she says.
The spokesperson adds that the actor’s recent frequent trips to the family court have nothing to do with divorce.
“There was an internal settlement of a property issue because of which the family was in and out of the courts and this led to a speculation on other matters. Hope this puts all the rumours about her relationship to rest for good.”
