Martin, who counts Beyonce and husband Jay-Z, as his friends, however, said that he continued to write songs for other artists. “I did write a song for Beyonce but it got rejected by her A and R people,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling Maxim magazine. “The one I wrote for Rihanna didn’t get rejected,” he said.
