Actress Penelope Cruz’s hands were bruised and cut during the filming of the musical, Nine. The Volver star revealed that her hands got injured while she was shooting on ropes for the movie, reported imdb.com.

“I didn’t want the marks that I got from the ropes to go away,” said Cruz. “They were my little medals. Of course, they went away. I was so used to them after three weeks of training that I didn’t even feel physical pain any more,” she added.
