The 36-year-old is in the country with his Los Angeles Galaxy team for a game against Melbourne Victory Tuesday, and he decided to spread some festive cheer at a local medical facility ahead of the match.
Beckham delighted young patients at the Royal Children's Hospital by signing autographs and posing for pictures, reports contactmusic.com.
Jacqui Fewson, whose 19-month-old daughter Allegra received a kiss from the soccer player, told an Australian news channel: "He said to me 'I'd love to kiss her, will she cry?' I said 'no, can her mummy have one too?'... He was lovely and he is more handsome in real life and he loves kids."
