HT City quizzed Lara Dutta about recent reports that she and boyfriend Dino Morea have visited Splitsville over his alleged closeness to designer Nandita Mahtani. “I don’t want to comment. I have always stayed away from talking about my personal issues in the media and today, too, I will not talk about them,” she said.

Ah, well, Dino is also following the ‘no comments’ policy at present, though just a couple of months ago, he had been waxing lyrical about his love for Lara. “She’s very special and great company. I enjoy being with her. We do go out together,” Dino had said last December. This week, he muttered ‘no comments’ to media questions about a) the split and b) his friendship with Nandita.

He also clammed up when we asked for his reaction to a recent interview by Lara’s ex Kelly Dorji. Kelly, who had an eight-year relationship with the actress, had said that Dino, once his pal, had lied to him about his affair with Lara. Dino’s reply? What else but “no comments”.
