It was a cultural extravaganza at Maitreyi College’s annual fest — Rhapsody 2011. Inaugurated by Indian classical dancer Geeta Chandran, the energetic event saw participation by around 20 colleges across Delhi. From street play, fashion show, western and Indian dance to a creative writing competition, the two day fest had it all that takes to attract crowd. The first day of the fest went on a musical high when rock band Faridkot took over the stage and enthralled the crowd with their foot-tapping tracks.

It was music and dance that ruled the Day 2 of Symphony 2011 — the annual fest of Janki Devi Memorial College. The fest was rocked by a fine blend of Indian and western cultural performances. Competitions included Euphonie — the western music competition. The day also had Lets Dance, a solo dance competition and Nandita Rajguru Memorial Debate lined up for the afternoon.
