Drama kings and queens

The Bharati College fest, Abhivyakti, was about nukkad naatak and more.

The two-day annual fest of the Bharati College — Abhivyakti 2011 — began on a theatrical note, with a nukkad natak which saw participation from teams of various colleges. The Shivaji College took away the trophy with their play, Disha.

Various other competitions, like T-shirt painting and group dance, followed later in the day. The college wore a festive look with the bhangra performance by the students of SGTB Khalsa College. Individual performances by rappers Desi Underground Kalolz (the Ashock-Sonu duo) were the most sought activity event of the day. The fest concluded with a rock performance by the band Aghaaz.
