Emraan says no to Jannat 2

Kissing king Emraan Hashmi should thank Jannat literally! His career, which was steadily steering towards doom with his sleazy on-screen image and B grade characters, was resuscitated with the success of Jannat a couple of years back. Now the actor, has turned his back to its sequel.



Buzz is that the actor is not keen on committing to the film with Percept Company because his yet to be released film, Raftaar with the same production house has been stuck for some time now and the actor is not pleased.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, "Raftaar has been stuck for lack of funds. Emraan is waiting for Percept to clear his payments and the move to hit theatres."

Hashmi confirmed and said that he will give the green signal only after the release of Raftaar.

Interestingly, Shailendra Singh of Percept completely dismissed the news and told the tabloid, “We haven’t approached Emraan for Jannat 2 yet. We would want to work with him but nothing has been spoken about the sequel.”
