Actor Esha Deol is getting engaged to boyfriend Bharat Takhtani on Sunday at Hema Malini’s renovated bungalow in Mumbai. The 29-year-old actor will take her 13-month relationship forward with the Bandra-based businessman by exchanging rings in a private affair.
Actor Esha Deol is getting engaged to boyfriend Bharat Takhtani on Sunday at Hema Malini’s renovated bungalow in Mumbai. The 29-year-old actor will take her 13-month relationship forward with the Bandra-based businessman by exchanging rings in a private affair.
“Esha is getting engaged, and we all are ecstatic about it. The ceremony will take place at my new house and only close friends and family members are invited. But, the wedding will be grand,” says her mother and veteran actor Hema Malini.
The wedding will follow soon. “The wedding will happen in a couple of months though we have no date fixed yet — the bookings etc need to be worked out,” she says. Hema is all praises for her would be son-in-law Bharat. “We all are really fond of him. People used to tell me that I never had a son, so I told them that my daughters will get me my sons ... and now, I have got one in Bharat.” Esha’s father, actor Dharmendra will arrive from Pune for the function.
Will Esha continue to act after marriage? “That’s a call only she can take,” says Hema. Esha was last seen in Hema’s production Tell Me O Kkhuda (2011) that flopped, and is not doing any film as of now.
