Eva can’t risk work
Actor Eva Mendez has revealed that she hasn’t been on vacation in years because she doesn’t want to risk losing out on work by booking a holiday.
The actor, who began acting in the late 1990s, has gradually built a reputation from smaller films such as Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and Urban Legends: Final Cut to big-budget blockbusters such as Training Day, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Stuck on You and Hitch.
Mendez has worked hard for years, to build up her status in Hollywood, and admits she’s too focused on her career to take a break.
“It’s a very intense way to live. There are times when I wish I had more reflective moments. For instance, I’m incapable of sitting on a beach for a week. I just don’t do it. I’m too driven,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
