Celebs continue to be cyber victims. The latest is choreographer-singer Ganesh Hegde who learnt that a profile in his name already exists on Facebook, when he registered on the website recently.
If that wasn’t bad enough, people were interacting with and interviewing the fake Hegde. “It’s another thing that this guy couldn’t reply because he probably didn’t know what to answer,” says a shocked Hegde.
He says that he has lodged complaints with the cyber crime cell and the networking site, but wonders how much it will help.
The choreographer-singer is worried because his second album is coming up. He maintains that his ID on the site is Ganesh H Hegde. He says, “I hope people stop searching for ‘Ganesh Hegde’ and connect with the real, ‘Ganesh H Hedge’, henceforth.
