The first day of Verve- 2011, the annual fest of Jagannath Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), began with a rock band performance by Dhun and a surprise appearance by Indian Idol contestant Mohit Lalwani.

The first day of Verve- 2011, the annual fest of Jagannath Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini Sector 5 branch, began with a rock band performance by Dhun and a surprise appearance by Indian Idol contestant Mohit Lalwani.

Lalwani performed on numbers like Najaane Koi from the film Gangster, and the Dil Chahta Hai title-track. The evening was marked by Envogue — the annual fashion parade. Six colleges participated in the competition and walked the ramp. Themes such as Royalty, Roman Empire and Wedding were exhibited through the show. The crowd too, was no less when it came to fashion as girls were seen in bustiers and hot pants and guys in semi formal attire.
