Anil Kapoor throws a bash for his daughter and the team of her latest release; group parties hard for two nights in a row.

With daughter Sonam Kapoor’s latest release, Raanjhanaa, doing well at the box-office, father Anil Kapoor has all the reasons he needs to celebrate and party hard.

And as Sonam and the makers work out plans on capitalising the success of their film further, we’re told, they were interrupted by Anil, who felt it was time to celebrate. The actor was so happy with the grand opening of the film that he threw not one, but two impromptu parties at his residence on Saturday and Sunday night for his daughter and the entire team of Raanjhanaa.

A source close to the actor tells us, “Sonam’s work in the film is being loved by all. Anil felt that everyone’s efforts needed to be appreciated, which is why, he celebrated with them.” When contacted, Anil confirmed the news saying, “I am really happy with Sonam’s performance. Only a trained actor can appreciate the nuances of her role.
