The 24-year-old star revealed that she was determined to incorporate elements of the director’s style in the video of the song, which features R&B star Beyonce Knowles. “There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video. I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new,” said Gaga. The Poker Face hitmaker also got Tarantino’s best wishes for the video as he let her use his Pussy Wagon, a pick-up truck driven by Uma Thurman’s character in his film Kill Bill.

“We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video... he loved it so much he said, ‘You gotta use the Pussy Wagon’,” said Gaga.

The video shows Gaga jailed and then rescued by Beyonce, killing someone and making a poisoned sandwich for a group of truckers.
