The first episode screening of Indian Idol Season 5 was held at Salim Merchant’s home in Bandra. There was pin drop silence during the screening. But after that, Salim’s drawing room was converted into a mini-dance floor. Abhijeet Sawant, Prajakta Shukre and Salim Suleiman sang for all those gathered. Salim’s wife played the perfect hostess and ensured that everyone was enjoying themselves.
