The day was packed with a number of cultural events including Munadi — street play competition, Nupur — solo classical dance competition and Footloose — the group dance competition. “We had to close the registration for Footloose as we had already received 14 entries. The response was just amazing,” says Pariksha Sahay, the president of the college union.

The college also hosted competitions like Rangoli making and Mehndi making. Shri Venkateswara College bagged the first position in Rangoli making.

“The street play competition was a big hit among students,” says Neha Sharma, a member of Anubhuti — the college dramatics society.
