Girls just wanna have fun

HT City brings you Fresh on Campus, a competition that will choose the coolest batch of 2010. Here’s your chance to vote.

The next stop for HT City’s Fresh on Campus was Lady Irwin College. The students of this all-girls-college turned up in huge numbers and were seen flaunting their trendy shorts, dresses, skirts, tunics and denims.

The girls grooved to the tracks played by DJ Sumit Sethi. He even conducted a few contests for first-year students — push up rounds, arm wrestling, hunt for the Denver Daredevil, Style Diva and a grand dance competition. Zainab Rashid and Aanchal Chopraa, both first year B.Sc students were adjudged the winners for the Style Diva contest.

“It was a fun affair. We had to prove our worth in modelling and dancing. I danced to Choli ke peeche kya hai,” says Chopraa.
