Gracy?s quest for a hit

Gracy, who made an impressive start with Lagaan, seems to be fading away from Bollywood?s firmament.

It seems that Lagaan fame Gracy Singh has become a one film wonder; the actress hasn’t given any hit post Lagaan. Though she has appeared in some prestigious projects like Armaan and Munnabhai MBBS but none of them could catapult her into the leagues of Preitys and Ranis of Bollywood. And so, Gracy, an actress with impressive acting skills, is still struggling for recognition and success.

However, she is getting roles but they aren't as substantial as Lagaan or Munnabhai. Right now she is busy with producer Bala Kumar’s The White Land. The film went on floors on December 1, with a start to finish schedule in Saurashtra, Gujarat, reports Glamsham. According to the report, the film is 90 percent complete and director Jayant Gilatar plans to shoot remaining portion in the next schedule, which is starting in first week of February.

Gracy’s co-stars in the film are Ashish Chaudhary, Seema Biswas, Raghuveer Yadav, Govind Namdev, Suhasini Mulay and Mukesh Rishi.

One hopes Gracy’s grace works at box office and brings glory to the actress.
