The actor, who is strictly against lighting up in real life, first told debutant director Alankrita Shrivastava to make a change in her character. But, when that wasn’t possible, Gul opted for herbal cigarettes.

At the end of the day, everyone was thankful that Gul came up with the idea. Plus, the actor herself was thrilled that she didn’t have to break her rules! Hmmm.
