The petition had been filed by Dimple and Akshay after Rajesh Khanna's live-in partner Anita Advani had filed a case in the Metropolitan Magistrate's court in Bandra accusing Kaka's family of domestic violence and demanding for rightful share in Rajesh Khanna's property including his palatial bungalow 'Aashirwad'.

Based on the petition filed by Dimple and Akshay in the HC, Justice K.U.Chandiwal of the Bombay High Court has issued a stay order on the case filed by Advani and Rajesh Khanna's family till December 17.
