Heliport in Delhi

Delhi is all set to get its first heliport this month. Situated in Rohini, it is being built by a state-run company in view of the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

After the Games, the heliport will be used for chopper travel within the region, promoting travel and tourism, and generating business. It would cover helicopter operations, maintenance, repair and a training academy.
