The lights were dim, the waiters were in red coats and and the appetisers went well with wine and whiskey. As a giant statue of Buddha looked on, the evening got energised with the entrance of singer Daler Mehndi. Others present were designers Madhu Jain and Kimmi Tej, actress Shama Sikander, former cricketer Kirti Azad and socialites Ramola Bachchan and Ameeta Seth. Also spotted was Minister of State for Tourism, Sultan Ahmed.
