Following delays due to the Los Angeles wildfires, the nominations for the 97th annual Academy Awards are finally here! Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott revealed the nominees for the film industry’s top prize on Thursday, January 23.

Emilia Perez and The Brutalist and Wicked dominated the Oscars 2025 nominations. Anuja, a film backed by Guneet Monga and Priyanka Chopra, has secured a historic nod for India as it got nominated in the Best Live Action Short Film category.
