I am not pregnant: Malaika Arora Khan
There had been a strong buzz at the recent Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai that Malaika was expecting her second child, but the hottie refuted the rumour. Neha Sharma tells more.
Her figure was as perfect as ever as Malaika Arora Khan stood on the stage gracefully at an award function in Delhi on Wednesday. All camera lenses were focussed on her midriff — there had been a strong buzz at the recent Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai that she was expecting her second child after her normally flat stomach looked slightly swollen (left). But on this evening, there was no sign of a bump.
“I’m not pregnant,” said Malaika quite emphatically, adding she did not know how the rumour started. At LFW, where she had walked the runway for the Mai Mumbai show, a visitor had unambiguously said that she was three months pregnant; and the runway photos seemed to support this. “I don’t know where these reports came from,” said Malaika to HT City, posing for shutterbugs in a short dress (right).
Was it just the food, then? “I am a foodie,” said the svelte TV host. “I love eating everything, even sweets.” Her other indulgence is spa visits. “I love the tranquility and the relaxed atmosphere there.”
Malaika has a six-year-old son, Arhaan, with husband Arbaaz Khan and she regularly makes it to the list of Bollywood’s yummiest mummies. On this visit to Delhi, she looked simply yummy.
