Singer-actor Aditya Narayan, the 22-year-old son of singer Udit Narayan, says he is not the little boy who sang Chhota cachcha jaan ke in Masoom (1996) and played Salman Khan’s illegitimate son in Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai (1999) anymore. Two weeks before his debut in Shaapit, he has moved out of his parents’ house and bought himself a 2,000-square feet bachelor’s pad.

“I’m a nuisance at home. My lifestyle doesn’t suit my parents. I need my space. People are seeing it as problems between my dad and me, but that’s not true,” he says.

Aditya is also looking for a girlfriend. “I won’t give details now — pata chala maine yahan bol diya aur wahan se mana ho gaya,” he chuckles, adding, “At home, I have to sleep early, and if I tell a girl I sleep at 7.30 pm, she’ll think I’m mad.”
