“I wasn’t a heartthrob at school, I was a geek. I was a gawky 17-year-old. A lanky, skinny, awkward kid,” he says. “My friends treat me the way they always did.

If I was arrogant towards them, they would kick my ass,” he added. The 22-year-old admitted he loves talking to his fans because they’re usually “pretty girls”.

“I don’t do disguises because I don’t get hassled too much. Fans are not a big deal — I love talking to fans. They’re usually fun and they’re usually pretty girls to be honest. It’s not the worst thing in the world,” he said.
