Boxing champion Vijender Singh may be a heartthrob for girls all over the city, but he is all praises for Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha.
Singh, who was in Gurgaon last week to attend a function at the Ansal Institute of Technology says he hopes to start a boxing academy in Haryana one day. “I still feel that there is great scope to promote boxing. And in order to do this I am planning to open an academy. But for this I need the support of Haryana government. And Gurgaon would indeed one of my choices to open the academy,” he says.
Although, he remains tight-lipped about the Bollywood offers he has in his kitty, he does talk about female actors he would love to work with. “Among all the upcoming actresses I really like Sonakshi Sinha. I appreciate her acting and indeed she has a great persona which I admire,” he says smilingly.
Talking about his chemistry with Mallika Sherawat and Priyanka Chopra he says,“I worked with both of them and they are equally good.”
The 25-year-old who is credited for bringing back the sport of boxing into the limelight in India prefers home cooked food. Talking about his marriage plans he says, “No plans in near future, right now I want to concentrate on my game. There are some offers from bollywood too but marriage is not on cards in near future.”
