Javed-Shabana’s long luncheon

from Bandra tells me about Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s return journey to Mumbai recently. Seems the couple is doing up their house in Lonavla and on the way back, decided to stop at Fariyas for lunch. Apparently, the lunch-break extended to nearly three hours and the couple and their friends rose to leave after the sun had set.

Now, don’t point the rather longish duration of the lunch break. Considering that it took Shabanaji to find appropriate seating, which didn’t have the sun shining in their faces, it’s but obvious that they wouldn’t leave in a hurry.
