Apparently, the actor was in terrible pain post the incident. "A doctor was immediately rushed to the spot as John’s pain was getting unbearable. He couldn’t even sit," says the source, adding, "After some rest, a couple of physiotherapy sessions, and a few painkillers, John was back to complete the rest of the shoot. However, the doctor has advised him to take care of his back, and not pick up any heavy objects for a couple of weeks."

When contacted, Firoz A Nadiadwala, the producer of the film, confirmed the news, saying, "John faced back trouble while driving the SUV on the bumpy sand dunes."
