Oi oi… what is this I’m hearing now? Sher Lock Holmes is telling me that John Abraham is taking his character of Jhootha Hi Sahi rather seriously. Matlab? Meaning that he will re-play his character Sid the bookseller from the film in real life too. Huh?

Sher Lock bhai goes on to explain that the actor will actually be selling kitaabein at Peddar Road’s Crossword Bookstore on Saturday. Nah, it has nothing to do with October 2 being a national holiday. Abraham’s reality act is part of his film’s promotional strategy.

That’s not all. Johnny boy, who’s one of the few well-read actors in tinsel town, is keen to sell more romantic novels… especially since his film is a prem kahani with Pakhi, director Abbas Tyrewalla’s wife. Hmm, must say the actor who started his career as a client servicing executive, is sure using his advertising skills to market his movie well. Wonder what ace marketing strategist and perfectionist Aamir Khan has to say about this. Hmm.
