Now, a birdy from Bandra wants me to hear about Kangna Ranaut’s wardrobe woes for the shooting of Knock Out or something such.
Seems like she plays an investigative journalist in the movie, the story of which unfolds in a span of two hours. So? So, I’m told that given the timeline of the story, Kangy is required to wear just one outfit throughout.
And after considering the locations, director Mani Shankar and designer Rock Roy chose to dress the actress in beige outfits. But a day before the shooting commenced, Shankar had to change the locations and in turn, needed Kangy to dress up in a different colour in another fabric.
After quick brainstorming with her director and designer, Kangy opted for a chekered tweed outfit. Thank God for small mercies, the actress got her stylist to deliver her outfits the following morning, just in time for the shoot to start. Phew!
