Bollywood hottie with doll-like looks Katrina Kaif who turned up in her favourite red gown at GQ awards recently faced a wardrobe malfunction. Her gown ripped just right up to her thigh and that too minutes before her going on the stage.

According to reports, Katrina was waiting backstage to receive the award, when one of her friends stepped on her gown. As a result of which her gown ripped leaving Kat freaked and shocked.

While talking to a news daily, Katrina said, "I asked for Anahita, who had done Kareena and my styling for the event to come and help me. I was panicking by then! Anaita asked me to stay calm and within five minutes stitched it up so finely that I couldn't see the tear."

Katrina got the Woman of the Year award - an award also received previously by Jennifer Anniston in USA.
