Hundreds of fans gathered at Delhi’s Kasturba Gandhi Marg on Tuesday, as Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif paid a visit to the Hindustan Times building. The actor, who dropped in to talk about her upcoming film, Tees Maar Khan, was accompanied by film-maker Farah Khan.
Dressed in a black power suit, the actor slipped out of her heels and into flats before she got out of her car. Kaif arrived in a white Mercedes and was escorted into the Fever 104 FM office amid tight security. The actor, who was in a chatty mood, spoke about music and asked people about their favourite bands. "You guys don’t listen to good music," she said, after settling down with "a cup of black coffee with less sugar."
Asked about her favourite songs, Kat predictably listed the hit number, Sheila Ki Jawaani, from her upcoming film, as her top pick. “I listen to a lot of international bands. I will give you CDs of these bands,” she said.
Asked why the name Sheila was chosen to be part of the song’s title, she said, “Because the name fits so well. We also tried Laila, but nothing sounded so right.”
When quizzed how she planned to wish Salman Khan on his birthday on December 27, Kat said, “I will wish him personally.” She also posed with fans for a few pictures.
