Ashton Kutcher’s representative has brushed off rumours about the actor’s romance with screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, insisting that they are just friends.

According to online reports, Scafaria bears a passing resemblance to Kutcher’s estranged wife Demi Moore.

The 49-year-old actress had confirmed her split with Kutcher in November, following weeks of speculation about the status of their relationship, and the Two and a Half Men star has since then been linked to Scafaria, who previously dated The O.C.’s Adam Brody.

Kutcher and Scarfaria spent time together at the Yellowstone Club ski resort in Montana earlier this month, before jetting off for a Christmas vacation in Pisa, Italy, the Daily Express reported.

Eyewitness Alex Thorpe had told Usmagazine.com that the pair held hands over a romantic lunch on Christmas Eve.

“They shared spaghetti, and he paid,” the source added.
