Going solo?
Seven days of Saturday is all I need.. I don’t need no Sundays ’coz I don’t rest in peace.. Aah, how true to moi these words by Bon Jovi ring, given how hard I work to earn my daily caviar and fuel for my Lamborghini!

I’ve just been informed that Lara Dutta and Dino Morea have decided to reduce their together appearances in public. Rather strange, remarks my birdy from Bandra, considering the couple have been unofficially saath saath ever since they got into a relationship.

So why this sudden volte face? Birdy says that Dutta was tired of being written about only in connection with her Dino.. and decied enough was enough.

Now, Laraji wants only her work to be spoken about. So, she’s going solo aaj ke baad, at least in public. Don’t ask me what Dinoji wants. Does it look like I care? It’s enough if Laraji cares, no?

Love is not around
O, o, o.. now my pankhas and pankhis want me to make my presence felt on the world wide web too.. and launch my own website. I waved off the idea after realising that every Tom, Dick, Harry and even Adhyayan Suman is logged on the Internet.

An insider tells me that when Adhyayan first thought of starting his own site, he wanted girlfriend Kangana Ranaut to unveil it.
But eventually Kangy decided to stay away fearing that her presence would take away the limelight from her beau.. and the focus would shift to their prem kahani.

She reasoned with Adhyayan that she didn’t want their relationship to be under the kind of stress that had sent Priyanka Chopra and
Harman Baweja going their separate ways, reveals my jasoos. So she stayed away on his bada din. Taaliyan!

Dosti ki khatir
My kaaliberry is buzzing.. It’s a veteran PR type calling to crib about Purab Kohli. Kyun? Kyunki ever since he saw the movie Barah Aana, he has been sending text messages to all and sundry to watch it, saying it needs word-of-mouth appreciation to get noticed at the ticket windows.

I didn’t know Kohli had switched professions, I told the publicist. No, no, insists Mr PR, Kohli is just being over-enthu for director Raja Menon who had given him a break in Bas Yun Hi.. the two have been jigri dosts since.

So what’s the problem, I ask irritated. PR whines that if Purab does such publicity for everyone, then he.. the PR, not Purab dahlings.. will have to look for an alternate career. Really now!

New good friends
Looks like Madhu my Mottu Maid isn’t in her usual sunny mood today. Now she’s ranting against Vinay Pathak, that he appears sooo unaffected by his separation from his wife of seven years, Sonika.

The actor-producer, who hit big time with Bheja Fry (really!), is believed to be jaani dost with nirmata Parvati Balagopalan.

Although they’ve known each other for years, their dosti blossomed into something more meaningful only during the making of Straight or some such movie.

And it hasn’t take long for Pathak and Balagopalan to become more than just good friends. Mottu says she’s glad Sonika opted to move away from Pathak. I couldn’t agree more, I tell you.

That’s two much
Sometimes I think I must be crazy to indulge Mottu when she wants to chat me up on her chhotta motta types. But at least that’s better than making boo boos on bada sitaras, what say my sweetsums?

At the moment she’s yakking about how Ayesha Shroff and Kaizad Gustad continue to be buddy buddy, contrary to the reports
in glamour gaon. The fact that they sauntered in together for the premiere of Firaaq on Thursday night is proof that they haven’t gone their separate ways.

Now it only remains to be seen whether Ayesha’s next production sans Gustad starts.. and when. Wah, Motti, wah! Tumne to aaj kamaal kar diya. But I must be cautious and not overdo on the praise bit, lest she gets spoilt. After all, such is life dearies.
