Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi have already been declared man and wife! But wasn't the wedding on February 19
Turns out Lara and Mahesh have already had a registered marriage and the excited husband posted a picture on Twitter titled 'Mr and Mrs Bhupathi folks'.
The wedding was attended by bride and the groom's close friends and family, Mid-Day reported.
The actress looked stunning in an off white sari. Later today, the newly wed couple will head to Goa for the ceremonies.
The sangeet ceremony will take place on Feb 18 at a Beach resort. The new bride will wear a Manav Gangwani orange lehnga studded with Swarovski crystals, while the groom will be seen in a traditional kurta pajama with an orange stole.
The Sangeet will be organised by Dreamz Kraft, run by Priti Sidhwani who has also handled Neelam Kothari's wedding.
Come February 19, the couple will have a Christian wedding. The setting at their wedding will be very Victorian according to the taste of the bride.
A source told Mid-Day, "Lara wanted something romantic, chic and intricate. The Sunset Venue is atop a hilltop which overlooks the ocean and it's here that Lara will exchange rings and vows with Mahesh and be blessed by a minister."
Lara will wear a stunning white Ellie Saab gown while Bhupathi will be see in a traditional black-white tuxedo.
Buzz is that Bollywood biggies like Raveena Tandon Thadani, Priyanka Chopra, David Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh, Dia Mirza, Sajid Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani are expected to attend the wedding.
