Singer Lily Allen has apologised for making "bullyish" remarks about a comedian on Twitter.

The 26-year-old poked fun at David Vitty after watching his appearance on telivision cookery show "Drop Down Menu" Thursday, reports contactmusic.com.

In a post on Twitter, she wrote, "Comedy Dave on Channel 4's Drop Down Menu being unfunny as per," prompting her followers to post mocking messages about Vitty too."

Allen later showed remorse and blamed her comment is because of hormonal changes which she is going through because of her pregnancy: "Sorry, feel a bit bullyish now, hormones made me say it. Comedy Dave is brill."
