Lunch date to help gay school children
Fans can bid for an intimate date with George Clooney as the Hollywood star is putting himself up for auction to help gay school children.
The actor wants to raise money for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, the organisation works to keep schools safe for gay and transgendered young people. Bids are expected to go up to 12,000 pounds and the two highest bidders will have the meal with Clooney at Soho House in West Hollywood, the Daily Star reported.
The auction is organised by the Charitybuzz site and runs until October 11. This is not the first time the actor has pulled out all the stops for charity. Clooney also sold his Tesla Roadster sports car to benefit humanitarian efforts in Sudan over the summer.
