Actor Nikhil Dwivedi, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan is the next Bollywood actor to get married this year. The girl who’s stolen his heart is Gauri Pandit, a model who has also acted in Telugu films like Andhrudu and Kasko. The two met in early 2006 and have been dating since then, but have chosen to keep it secret all along.
It is learnt that Dwivedi popped the question in late 2010, and that set their families’ plans for their marriage in motion. Only the Dwivedi and Pandit families with their closest friends will be part of the celebrations for the March 7 wedding.
When contacted, the actor wondered how we learnt their secret. But he did confirm his wedding plans, saying, “Gauri is a wonderful person and I’m very happy to spend the rest of my life with her.” When probed for the celebrations, he conceded that he’s planned a gala reception later next month.
