Meet the new DUSU prez

He loves cricket, ghar ka khaana and, of course, DU. After DU, it’ll be either politics or family business. I have never thought of taking a job Jitender Choudhary, DUSU president.

My role model is Narendra Modi and I want to be like him, but I don’t really know why,” says newly-elected Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) President, Jitender Choudhary, in an interview to HT City.

Although a fan of Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, Choudhary says, “My favourite movie is Shah Rukh’s Chak De India.” As for food, he likes to keep it simple. “Maa ke haath ka khaana works for me,” he says.

When asked about his favourite haunts, Choudhary says, “Delhi University itself is so cool that you don’t have to go to other places to have fun. I sometimes go to Badkal lake if I want to relax with friends.”

And what about his style statement? “You will always see me wearing jeans and white shirt because it makes me look decent,” says Choudhary, who is also a self-confessed MS Dhoni fan, and loves playing cricket.
