Meryl Streep has revealed that she stole napkins from the White House while she was there earlier this month. During an appearance on The View, the 62-year-old actress admitted with a laugh that she snagged some small souvenirs for herself.

“I stole the White House napkins,” the Politico quoted her as saying.

The Devil Wears Prada star visited 1600 Penn. as a Kennedy Center honouree, described the bathroom there as “fantastic” with “little hand towels with ‘White House’ stamped in gold.”
