Dear diary,
The other day I checked my purse and there was no money in it. But I had my debit card. So I left the office and walked down to the nearest ATM. It was hot and I was hungry and I had this strong urge to have banana split icecream at the Nirula’s. Anways, I reached the ATM and was dismayed to discover that I could not withdraw any money because my balance was too low. I was disheartened.

But suddenly I looked down and saw a Rs 500 note. I looked out. There was no one. The guard was reading the newspaper. I quickly picked the note and went straight to the Nirula’s. All the time my heart was beating fast. I feared that the guard was following me. But nothing happened. I had my banana split. It was nice.
