Popstar Janet Jackson has opened up on her brother 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson's drug usage for the first time insisting that her family tried really hard to force him into rehab.

The singer admits the siblings staged numerous interventions in an effort to help the late superstar but he refused to accept that he had a problem.

"We tried it several times and he was very much in denial," said Janet in an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The 43-year-old singer said that she and other family members always feared that Michael's life would end the way it did.

"I felt that day could possibly come; I think everyone thinks that who has a family member or a friend (in trouble)," Janet said.

Jackson died in June last year after suffering a cardiac arrest due to overdose of drugs.
