In a news conference, Michael said that Lindsay was "not okay" and told all her enablers to "get the hell out of the way."

He also said that he doesn't want the Mean Girls star to end up like actress Brittany Murphy or DJ AM and would like her to go to rehab on Long Island ... far from Hollywood, reported TMZ.

Michael has also falsely claimed that he has made arrangements with Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley. Chapman Holley has told him that she represents Lindsay, not him, and will do as her client instructs.

The 24-year-old actress' mother Dina Lohan, who was angry that her ex-husband held a news conference about their daughter, said that, "Lindsay is in good hands. Everything is fine."
