Actor Naseeruddin Shah was airlifted out of Coorg, and admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore while shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf , had complained of giddiness before being flown out.

Actor Naseeruddin Shah was airlifted out of Coorg, and admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore on Tuesday. The actor, who was shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf there, had complained of giddiness before being flown out.

Post the sudden hospital visit, speculation is rife that all is not well with the veteran’s health. “Shah suffers from vertigo, and was feeling unwell on Monday itself. When he complained of severe pain in his ears on Tuesday, he was rushed to Bangalore.”

There was also buzz that the actor may have suffered a heart attack. Dr Sudarshan Ballal, director, medical advisory board of the hospital, says, “Naseer complained of weakness and exhaustion. We conducted a number of tests, which did not reveal anything serious.”

Meanwhile, the actor has discontinued shooting and returned to Mumbai.
